Abby

Abby started the Ketogenic lifestyle in 2017 after doing just about every other diet. She was consistently losing weight and then would gain it right back on the weekend. She found it hard to stick other diets because she was always hungry and having cheat meals. She thought she could exercise the pounds away.

After weeks of research she finally decided to give Keto a try, but vowed it would only be for 6 weeks. After week 1 and the surge of energy, focus, and results she saw, she was hooked!

Abby has lost over 130 lbs and 145 inches.

She went from a size 20 to a size 2. From a size 4x to a size Small.

While Abby is very passionate about the Ketogenic lifestyle she credits all of her success to the revelation God gave her about stewarding her body. She was able to acknowledge she has a food addiction and was using food to cope with trauma from childhood, depression, and anxiety. It was when she was diagnosed with Postpartum Depression after the birth of her son that she was at her lowest point in life. Feeling suicidal and lost, she had an encounter with her savior, Jesus Christ that changed everything. She now stands firm against her addiction knowing that self control and discipline is a fruit of the spirit and the more time she spends with God, the better it gets and that “anything that we put before God is out of order, including food”.

She now spends her time sharing her families faith, ketogenic lifestyle, and helping others get freedom from food addiction. While she loves helping people through her business, she is fully confident that it is not a meal plan or grocery list that is helping people. It is the power of her testimony and encouragement of others to place God first to allow him to meet their needs instead of reliance on “comfort foods”.

Penelope

Penelope started the Ketogenic lifestyle when she was 8 years old.

Her previous diet consisted of spaghetti, ramen noodles, macaroni & cheese, chicken nuggets, candy & ice cream.

She now loves eggs, homemade meatballs, and peppers with cream cheese. Penelope loves to enjoy berries as a treat. She will do just about anything for blueberries. She insist they taste so much better now.

Penelope takes her own Keto friendly lunch for school and we send in special Keto friendly treats for events.

Birthday parties are usually handled by giving a choice of eating Keto friendly food for the meal and having a cupcake/slice of cake or eating a non Keto friendly food and not having cake/cupcake. She typically chooses to eat Keto friendly and have a cupcake.

We typical prepare for special events by packing our own foods.

Huxley

Huxley Steele started the Ketogenic lifestyle when we has 2 1/2 years old.

At the time of the transition his diet consisted of goldfish, syrup, & whipped cream. He had not consumed a real protein in 18 months. We kept taking him to the doctors for help, but they insisted that he was meeting all of his developmental and growth markers and to just “give whatever he will eat”. He was pretty much non verbal, extremely angry, and just wasn’t fun to be around.

His transition was the most difficult. It most of it is documented on our YouTube channel. Many days and night were spent in tears just waiting for him to eat. We prayed continuously for God to help him eat and after 9 months we finally progressed to a place where he was eating meats without them needing to be ground or disguised in a red sauce.

He now enjoys a diet that is primarily carnivorous. His favorites are Ribeye, Chicken, Sausage, Eggs and Almond Flour Crackers.

He never really ate the typically “kid foods” like Mac & Cheese, nuggets, or baked goods.

During this transition we’ve seen him become more verbal as his speech developed, he became affectionate, and generally more pleasant.

We remember that love is patient as we faithfully believed that we would see results and improvement in this area of our children’s lives. It’s our responsibility to be good stewards of all that God has given us and our first ministry is to our family.
