House Of Keto | Jalapeño Popper Bake
Gather Your Stuff:
8 sliced jalapeños
2 - 8 oz packages of cream cheese softened
2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
8 oz Prosciutto (cut in small pieces)
8 oz Pancetta (diced)
Dash of salt (optional)
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
Now do this:
Cut jalapeño in slices - (you can use less or more jalapeños depending on how spicy you like it. 8 was enough for very spicy.)
Set a few pieces of Jalapeños aside for topping/garnish
Sauté diced pancetta (you can skip this step, because it will cook in the oven, but I like mine extra crispy) and set aside
In a bowl combine softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, prosciutto, jalapeños, and any seasonings.
Transfer to a baking dish. (I used a glass pie dish)
Top with diced pancetta
Top with a few slices jalapeño and a sprinkle of cheese (optional)
Bake at 400 for 20 minutes
Notes:
If you want this to have a more liquid/dip consistency replace one package of cream cheese with 1 cup of sour cream.
This can be eaten as is, or you can dip cheese crisp, flax crackers, almond flour crackers, pepper scoops or pork rinds.
Use less jalapeños if you DON’T want it very spicy.
You can also substitute the meats for bacon, or any other meat. We’ve done this with cooked beef, chicken, and even crab! It’s amazing no matter what!
