Trap House Pork Chops
Ingredients
6 pork chops
1 package cream cheese
2 tbsp sour cream
2 cups shredded cheese
6 slices of bacon
3 tbsp paprika
2 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
2 tsp thyme
1 tsp oregano
2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp black pepper
Scallions
Instructions
Place pork chops in a baking dish.
Mix seasoning together in a bowl and sprinkle on both sides of the pork chops.
In a bowl combine softened cream cheese, sour cream and 1 cup of shredded cheese.
Spread this mixture over the pork chops and top with remaining shredded cheese.
Bake at 350 for 35 minutes
Once cooked top with crumbled bacon and scallions on top.
I personally don’t like adding my bacon to this dish, because I like crispy bacon and it tends to get soggy if you cook it in the oven with it. So I just add it afterwards!
Want to spice this up? Dice some jalapeño peppers and add to your cream cheese mixture.
