Deep Dish Pizza

INGREDIENTS

2 cups mozzarella cheese

1 1/2 cups pizza sauce

4 cups cooked shredded chicken

Pepperoni 

4 tbsp oregano

2 tbsp basil

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp thyme

1 tbsp fennel

1 tbsp paprika

1 tbsp black pepper 

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine seasoning together to make pizza seasoning mix.

Use half the seasoning mixture to season chicken and save the rest to sprinkle on top before cooking 

Combine cooked shredded chicken, 1 cup mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup pizza sauce in a medium skillet until cheese is melted.

Transfer chicken mixture to an oven safe dish and press down in the pan

Top with remaining pizza sauce, cheese, pepperoni and any other pizza toppings.

Sprinkle with more pizza seasoning 

Bake on 350 for 30 minutes 

We use our crockpot Butter Meats - chicken cooked in butter in the crockpot and shredded. This helps make weeknight meals quick and easy. 

I like making this in a cast iron skillet because I transfer this right to the oven.
